The Witcher 3 is nearing its sixth birthday, and even if it has aged with enviable grace, a touch-up here and there has never hurt anyone. Keeping a twenty-year-old game playable and enjoyable to this day. Thankfully, its devoted community modded the hell out of it to create the aptly named Silent Hill 2 Enhanced Edition. Hardware improves at a breakneck speed and games made only a couple of years ago can become dated, to say nothing of games launched almost two decades ago. Here’s the thing though: games as a medium are prone to age like milk. Probably so it can forget about all of the trauma inflicted on it by Silent Hill 2. It is also almost old enough to order a drink in the US. Silent Hill 2 is a fantastic game, arguably one of the best of all time. This allows you to still use the vanilla parry by not moving and starting the parry action, and once you're in vanilla parry you can finally start moving while parrying.Your first time should be remarkable, make sure that it is! The order in which you do the combo is important though, you can't do Parry then W but only W then Parry. It is the same for the sidesteps, if you press A + Parry it will do a left sidestep, and D + Parry a sidestep to the right. When CombatSkills detects the combo W + Parry it will launch a kick move instead of a regular parry. These skills are usable through combos, for example the kick is accessible by doing Forward (W) and starting a Parry. It is also done in a way to avoid adding new keybinds to your already cluttered keybind settings. The mod aims to add new skills without sacrificing any other skill coming from vanilla or mods.
